Our School

School Profile

Templestowe Heights Primary School is located in Templestowe Lower, in Melbourne’s north-east. As of 2026, we have 570 students enrolled across 25 straight grade classes. We are a school that feels like a community. Families often tell us this is one of the first things they notice when they visit, and it is something we work to maintain as we grow.

We have committed staff who have worked hard to create an environment that supports the  intellectual, emotional and social development of each child. The partnership between school and home matters to us, and we actively look for ways to involve parents and carers in the life of the school.

Students have access to a wide range of learning experiences across all areas of the curriculum, with particular emphasis on literacy and numeracy. Specialist programs in Library, Italian, Visual Arts, STEM and Physical Education complement the core classroom program, and our dedicated enrichment and intervention teachers provide targeted support to ensure success for every learner.

Our campus has also been significantly developed in recent years. We have modern, well-resourced classrooms, a newly renovated library, a dedicated Art Studio, a new STEM Lab, a full-sized gymnasium, four adventure playgrounds, a community garden and a well-maintained oval. Out of Hours School Care is available on site for families who need it.
