Why THPS
Families come to THPS for different reasons. Some are drawn by our approach to teaching. Some have heard about us through other families in the community. Some simply like what they see when they visit.
What most families tell us, after their child has settled in, is that the thing they value most is knowing their child is genuinely known at school. Known by their teacher. Part of a community that notices them.
We are also a school that takes teaching seriously. We have worked hard in recent years to make sure our approach to literacy, numeracy and the broader curriculum is grounded in what the evidence tells us about how children learn. Families often notice the difference in their child’s confidence and progress.
The best way to understand what THPS is like is to visit. We warmly invite you to come and see us.
