The Year 1 and 2 students attended an excursion to Edendale Community Farm. We enjoyed a tour of the farm, meeting all the animals and feeding the chickens and sheep. We learnt more about how to reduce, reuse and recycle our rubbish and raced each other to sort rubbish into the right bins. We also enjoyed learning about worm farms and minimising our fuel footprint by buying Australian-grown fruit and vegetables. We had a fantastic day learning more about Sustainability!
